God our Father

The Almighty one, All powerful one, All knowing one, All sufficient one, still in all that splendour and almightiness He remains our good good father. He knows our every need before we ask, cares for us, delights in the details of our lives and promises never to leave nor forsake us. He really wants the best for his children and will move heaven and earth to fulfil it. He constantly looks for ways to save us and a demonstration of His love was by sending His only son Jesus to the world to redeem us back to himself.

Jesus the Son of God

We believe Jesus Christ was God in flesh who lived among men and through Him all things were created. He is the son of God and the lamb that took away our sins and the sins of the world. Jesus displayed the fruits and gifts of the Spirit in all His dealings while he was with us on earth. He is an exemplary of light, love, forgiveness, patience, long-suffering and kindness. He went about doing good, healing the sick, raising the dead and delivering the oppress. His blood was shed in place of ours so that we might be saved and our souls will reign with him in eternity. He has commissioned us to make disciples of all nations baptising them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit

Our helper, comforter, guide, teacher and friend. The Holy Spirit is the third person in the holy trinity with God the Father being the first and God the Son being the second. The Holy Spirit is the gift sent to us by Jesus after His ascension to heaven. The Holy Spirit was instrumental to the move of God in the early church and is still very much relevant to the present church. The holy Spirit has numerous traits that we as Christians require to be victorious in our walk with God which includes the fruits of the spirit and the gifts of the spirit.

The Bible

Also known as the ‘Living and Active Word’ the bible is the epiphany of our faith. Which simply dictates the written and spoken word of God through His prophets in the Old Testament or by divine revelation of the Holy Spirit through His disciples in the New Testament. It was written by men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is to guide, correct, convict and give us permanent victory over sin, over situations and victory over every doubts of the devil. The bible has continued to exist throughout generations and will be until Jesus’ return. It is a guide by which a Christian life should endeavour to follow to ensure we are living according to God’s will and purpose for our lives.

The Church

The Church signifies the body of Christ which Christ gave himself for. It is made up of believers who acknowledge that Jesus Christ is their Lord and personal saviour and that he died and rose on the third day. It is a community of lovers of Christ who want to shine for their maker and be a positive example in the society. The church therefore is you and I and we know that it shall stand and the gates of hell WILL NEVER prevail against it.

Heaven

Heaven is the place where God dwells and therefore is His throne. Heaven is a goal as believers and lovers of Jesus. It is a place where we will spend eternity as Jesus has promised us. It will be a land of milk and honey where all we do is to constantly worship with the angels, we will no longer have thus flesh, he would transform us from our corruptible self (flesh) to incorruptible (spirit) we will all be like him and reign with him in glory.
